Stress Less and Lighten Up. Sat., Nov. 16, 10AM-11:30AM. $10

Guided meditations to feel good now. Easy stress reduction tools to apply in your life. Learning how to lighten up and not take things too seriously!

We all know that stress messes with us. But it’s completely common for us all to just write it off as “normal.” We accept it as a fact of life, even though stress is so harmful to our health and peace of mind, and causes us to think, speak and act in ways that are wildly far from our good intentions. And we really CAN choose practices that reduce stress, increase peace, and put us back into alignment with the loving Truths we know in our hearts. Stress, in short, happens when we believe the false, fearful story lines in our heads. The biggest cause of stress is not external circumstances. It’s the internal pressures that we put on ourselves. We brutalize ourselves with our thinking. We hold ourselves to impossible standards or try to fulfill conflicting beliefs or demands. This class will offer guided meditation to help us feel better in the meeting itself. And it will teach us simple, feel-good stress reduction techniques that we can practice and apply to our beautiful, daily lives. I’ll help us understand the true, deep power of lightening up – how it is a service to our minds, bodies, relationships, life – and to the world and Consciousness Itself. Let's not take life too seriously. Please join us for a very light-hearted, WHOLE-hearted enjoyment of being alive.

Growing Gratitude. Saturday, December 7. 10AM-12noon. $10

I offer this class monthly because gratitude is so fundamental to our enjoyment of life. And it is such a powerful force and necessity in my own life. When I (we) take the time to acknowledge the incredible richness of being alive, we are actually allowing ourselves to EXPERIENCE that richness and receive this great-Full-ness of Life. Gratefulness. Viewing life with appreciation opens our hearts, connects us to life and to each other, creates health in our bodies, and helps us see the vast beauty and great ENOUGHNESS that is already here to enjoy. It also helps us know our OWN enoughness. Gratitude is fundamental to seeing new joy and possibility too. The best way to have blessings is to count them! Come amplify and share your gratitude in this lighthearted class that includes meditations and experiential exercises to help us truly FEEL and ground gratitude in our bones and being.
